Fruit Bowl

Started working on learning lighting, texturing and compositing on Wednesday. Working on making a fruit bowl look realistic. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Bananas and apple look a little fake though.

Lincoln Vs Dark Lincoln

I was thinking about Link from the Legend of Zelda the other day, and then that went onto Dark Link, and somehow my brain said Lincoln instead of Link, and then this happened. Now the name Lincoln looks funny to me.

Character Animation Assignment - Finished

A frustrated Koh finally finished his animation assignment this morning. Took forever because the Render farm didn't work properly. In all honesty, it could have been better. Only like 12 seconds long, but boy was it a lot of work.

I wish I could do photorealistic drawings... One day. I set my standards way too high for myself. Urgh.

The Walrus and the Woman

Had a hectic weekend, so haven't been doing much art, but I started this at school, and finished it tonight. My animation will be up on my blog soon too, as soon as I render it and put it together.

Another one which I started ages ago, then lost the motivation to finish. I finally finished it though, although I think it looks pretty crappy up close.

Left Handed Drawing - Walrus

Just a little walrus sketch with my left hand. One day my left handed drawings will be good, and I'll lose that wobbly goodness that I like to get with it, and that's unfortunate.

Lip Sync

So after a long complicated series of events which resulted in my work being lost and me having to move to another computer, I finished the Lip Sync animation exercise. Audio is the famous 'I Am The Danger' quote from Breaking Bad.

Quick landscape study I did. Going to get heavy into the studies I think, also because I need to get better at working with values. Been watching a lot of tutorials lately as well, and learned some helpful tips. Here's hoping my art gets significantly better (soon).
