Environment Assignment - Kit Render

Way before I created all these assets, I had just the rubbish bags, the concrete barriers and some rope. I decided to play around with lighting and rendered out a little scene with my models using mental ray. I was happy with how realistic and detailed everything looked, but the lighting looks a bit dim. A friend explained that this could be due to the fact that I had Global Illumination turned off.
